Be A Person of Action
Be a Person of Action
The people at the top of every profession share one quality — they get things done. This ability supersedes intelligence, talent, and connections in determining the size of your salary and the speed of their advancement. Be a person of action.
Despite the simplicity of this concept there is a perpetual shortage of people who excel at getting results. The action habit — the habit of putting ideas into action now — is essential to getting things done. Taking action is the fastest most efficient way to success. The evidence is so compelling and obvious; action produces results. Inaction produces more of what you already have. You must decide that doing nothing is no longer an option.
Taking action is the only way to produce the results you say you want for your business.
Action people are organized, persistent, energetic and know exactly how to move from one project to another effortlessly and without hesitation. Others flounder in a world of disorganization and inaction. Jumping from one project to another and never working until completion. At the end of the day, the doers typically have more energy than at the beginning as they feed on taking action.
There comes a point where you need to quit thinking, researching, planning, talking, and just do something! It’s time to conquer the fears, self-doubts, and insecurities of seeing yourself as “a sales person or business owner.” It’s not the best business idea that becomes a successful business, but it’s the person to takes action and moves toward the launch. Action creates momentum, and momentum can often provide the ongoing catalyst to get to the next step, and the next step, and the next step.
No one can force you into action. No one can more your feet for you. You and only you make the change and create the results. Don’t waste another moment, day or year not taking action and being responsible for your business and your bottom line.
Understand the power that even the tiniest of actions can have when taken in the direction of your goals, dreams and desires. Every day, commit to taking some sort of action. Just think what you will look like in a week, next month and a year from now.
If you want more out of your business, than you have to do more in your business and take consistent action.
